The 2024 Oregon EV Tax Rebate Has Ended Now What?

The 2024 Oregon EV Tax Rebate Program, which provided substantial financial incentives for electric vehicle (EV) purchases, concluded on June 3rd.

For our Oregon customers who purchased or leased an EV between April 3, 2024, and June 3, 2024, there is still time to apply for the rebate.

What is the Clean Vehicle Rebate Program?

The Clean Vehicle Rebate Program offers significant financial incentives for Oregon residents who purchase or lease new or used electric vehicles. The program provides two main types of rebates:

Standard Rebate: Up to $2,500 for the purchase or lease of a new battery electric vehicle (BEV) or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV).
Charge Ahead Rebate: Up to $5,000 for low- to moderate-income households for the purchase or lease of a new or used BEV or PHEV.

Application Deadline

For our Oregon customers, if you bought or leased an EV during the eligible period, you have up to six months from your purchase date to submit your rebate application.

It’s important to gather all necessary documentation and apply through the Oregon DEQ website to take advantage of the rebate. The rebate can significantly reduce the overall cost of your electric vehicle, making sustainable transportation more affordable.
