Vancouver, WA – February 16, 2012 –Dick Hannah Dealerships partnered with the Children’s Cancer Association (CCA), 105.1 the Buzz (www.1051thebuzz.com), and Fox 12 Oregon (www.kptv.com) for the 7th annual Valentine’s Day for CCA event to raise money for children diagnosed with cancer. This event brings awareness and support to the Children’s Cancer Association’s (www.joyrx.org) award-winning programs and resources that bring joy and hope to seriously ill children and their families.
Dick Hannah Dealerships employees volunteered by staffing the phone bank. One of the largest pieces of the fundraising event was the raffle for a new car provided by Dick Hannah Dealerships. The winner of the car raffle was Justin Goodding. Justin was given his choice of a brand new Honda Civic, Hyundai Accent, Jeep Patriot, Kia Soul, Scion TC, Subaru Impreza, Toyota Corolla or Volkswagen Jetta.
“We were thrilled to have Dick Hannah Dealerships as a partner again this year. The employees who volunteered to help and the new car they offered us again this year were a huge help in making this event that much more successful. Thank you for your constant support and kindness,” said Melissa Owens, Volunteer Program Coordinator for the Children’s Cancer Association.
